Trine Wilsberg Lund, born in Oslo, trained with Barbro Marklund and Håkan Hagegård at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo and pursued further studies with Barbara Schlick at the Cologne University of Music.
Prizes she has received include first place in the 2003 Queen Sonja Music Competition and second place in the 2006 European Mozart Competition in Würsburg. From 2007 to 2009 she was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Hamburg State Opera, where she performed in Carmen, Hansel and Gretel and the Magic Flute. She returned in the 2009–2010 season as a guest performer. Trine Wilsberg Lund has recently made solo appearances with several European orchestras including the Leipzig Chamber Orchestra and the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Her numerous festival appearances include the Bach Festival in Wiesbaden, the Münster Barockfest and the Lisbon Festa da Musica.
