A spellbinding litterary work becomes theatre.
In 2015 Jon Fosse was awarded the Nordic Council’s Literature Prize for his trilogy Andvake (Sleepless) – Olavs draumar (Olav’s Dreams) – Kveldsvævd (Weariness).
The love story of main characters Asle and Alida flows between dream, memories and reality. Fosse’s characteristic voice concurs with a strongly present musical motiv. Trio Mediævel’s musical backdrop plays a significant rolt in Torkil Sandsund staging.
In the music and in the all-encompassing love lies a great leap, which forces ensure an extraordinary theatre experience.
