An enchanting sphere of music, impressions, and perception.
In an abstract universe of sound, light, and movement violinist Ingerine Dahl, accompanied by members from the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra – who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year – presents a concert performance that incites fantasy and wonder in children and adults alike.
Solitude is a brand new work for solo violin, string instruments, and percussion, written by Jan Erik Mikalsen and staged for children for the Bergen International Festival.
To find tranquillity within yourself, to find energy and open up to impressions from what is beautiful, strange and wondrous is the theme for this performance, enhanced by a fairy tale like stage design and magnificent costumes that unfold and become part of the scenography, designed by three graduating students from London College of Art and Fashion.
