Where can I find the Festival programme?
The programme is available at our ticket sales points, venues, cafés, major hotels etc. You can also order the programme and have it sent to you via e-mail or snail mail.
How can I get involved with the Festival?
Every year, Bergen International Festival seeks volunteers who can work as artist contacts, administrative assistants, or audience hosts. This is a great way to get an insider's view of the festival! Please see this page for more information.
How does the Festival choose who performs?
Artists performing at the Bergen International Festival have been invited by the Festival. Anders Beyer is the Festival’s Chief Executive Officer and artistic director. The planning of each year’s Festival – 15 days of concerts and performances by the world’s leading artists within classical music, theatre, opera and dance – is an ongoing process. Projects and programmes are developed with companies and individual artists often several years in advance.
If you think that you or your company can offer an exciting programme that the Bergen International Festival is missing, then email email@example.com or send the information to Festspillene i Bergen, Postboks 183 Sentrum, 5804 Bergen, Norway.
