General guidelines for cancellation and refund
Purchased tickets are only refundable if a cancellation has occurred. An event is considered cancelled if the planned event did not take place. Changes in the program and/or venue are not considered a cancellation. As there is no right of withdrawal you cannot get a refund if you should be prevented from attending the event.
If a cancellation occurs, customers are informed via e-mail and/or SMS. Ticket refund or changing the date of the ticket is done as quickly as possible. Service fees and any shipping costs incurred in connection to the ticket purchase are not refunded.
Refund of E-tickets is made to the payment card that was used for the purchase of the tickets. For tickets purchased from other outlets, a refund must be settled within 30 days of the event's original date.
There is no right to withdrawal when buying tickets. Thus, it is not possible to change your tickets to a different event or to a different price category after making the purchase. It is therefore important that you double check the date and other details before you execute the purchase.
We do not refund the price difference if you bought a full price ticket (standard ticket) but are entitled to a discount ticket. This is only possible when the wrong price is due to a technical error. It is therefore important that you double check the price before you execute the purchase.
- Discounts apply to most events, with the exception of some collaborations.
- For certain events, a restricted number of discount tickets are available.
- When purchasing discounted tickets, you must be able to present a valid ID at the entrance to the venue.
- Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
- Always check that the price is correct before making the payment. The festival will not refund the price difference.
- Tickets are not subject to cancellation.
- The festival does not change or cancel tickets.
If you are dissatisfied in connection with the purchase of your tickets or your experience at one of the festival's events, you can contact the Bergen International Festival at email@example.com.
