Bergen Children's Choir Festival
Closing concert
After the city's children's choirs have let loose at the Festival square, the Bergen Children's Choir Festival ends with a concert in Spissen (the main foyer) at Grieghallen. The theme is songs from all around the world, and the audience can expect a musical journey through several continents.
On stage is Edvard Grieg boys' choir, Edvard Grieg girls' choir and Øygarden school of arts choir. The girls' and boys' choirs are aged 10–16 and are a part of Edvard Grieg Korene, which is Bergen's largest choral organisation, with a total of more than 200 singers in their eight different choirs.
The Bergen Children's Choir Festival was first held in 2021 and has seen hundreds of young singers performing. The concert concludes the Bergen Children's Choir Festival this Sunday after the city's children's choirs associated with Ung i Kor – Vest have performed a series of mini-concerts at the Festival square earlier in the day.
