Festival Youth Performance

Small stages, big dreams

Music Dance Family
Next event:

Selected young talents take centre stage.

At the Festival Youth Performance, you can experience young aspiring artists who have worked hard, dreamt, and perhaps even been a bit nervous. In Grieghallen's Peer Gynt hall, they finally get to take centre stage to show their work and talent to a larger audience.

On stage, there will be dancers, singers and instrumentalists, hand-picked among the students at the cultural schools in Western Norway, as well as cultural schools in other regions. These are skilled, young artists who just might influence the cultural life of the region and country in years to come.

The Festival Youth Performance is a cherished, annual event at the Bergen International Festival – and is an audience favourite which often leaves the spectators both impressed and touched.
