The Oslo-based trio han gaiden creates innovative electronic music accompanied by vulnerable lyrics about being young, stupid and bold that vibrate in clear vocal harmonies with razor-sharp timing. Underneath are floating, drowsy synths and saxophones over bass-heavy club tracks.

han gaiden is known for their accomplished stage shows. The expression is cool and dark, with custom-made costumes and confident choreography that stares you down.

The trio got together in 2018, and in the spring of 2022, they released their debut album, you called me your erika, which was nominated for a Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) in the genre electronika. NRK P3 reported that this is one of the bands you should see live in 2023: "Sometimes you need concerts that offer a true escape from reality, and in this area, han gaiden offers a strong, unified and captivating package."
