This year's festival will comprise of events at Bergen's beautiful venues with as many spectators as we are allowed, and between 20 to 30 ticketed digital events.

Since last autumn, the Bergen International Festival has launched artists and performances planned for this year's festival as soon as they were ready. We chose to do this because we wanted to pay extra attention to our wonderful artists during a very challenging period in their careers, despite being aware that there could be major and minor changes to the programme. 

The festival period is now imminent, and it has become clear that many international artists will not be able to perform in Bergen as planned, while other events cannot be held for different reasons. Many of these will be moved to future festivals. We are continuously updating the programme with new, postponed and cancelled events.

At fib.no/en/programme, you will always find the latest updated and confirmed programme for this year's festival. To cause as little inconvenience as possible for the audience in the event of cancellation/postponement of performances, we are still waiting to put tickets up for sale.
