How can I be a performer at the Bergen International Festival?

Artists performing at the Bergen International Festival have been invited by the Festival. The planning of each year’s Festival – 15 days of concerts and performances by the world’s leading artists within classical music, theatre, opera and dance – is an ongoing process. Projects and programmes are often developed with companies and individual artists several years in advance.

If you would like to contact us with a programme proposal, please send an email to info@fib.no.

Due to the amount of proposals received, we are unfortunately not able to reply or confirm receipt.

How can I become a volunteer?

Every year, Bergen International Festival seeks volunteers who can work as artist contacts, administrative assistants, or audience hosts. This is a great way to get an insider's view of the festival.

Read more about volunteering here.

Do you reimburse purchased tickets if an event is cancelled?

You'll be contacted by our ticketing team by e-mail, SMS or phone if an event is cancelled.
