Relive Mozart's Requiem
During the 2025 Festival, Mozart's Requiem was performed by boys' choirs from large parts of Norway. A total of 264 young male singers took to the stage. Relive the concert on Bergenphillive – the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra's concert streaming service.
'With the energy the boys' choirs bring, I believe we could light up a medium-sized city', said choir master Håkon Matti Skrede before the concert.
Conducted by Jan Willem De Vriend, with Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. The soloists were Philipp Mathmann, Adrian Angelico, Guy Cutting and Mikhail Timoshenko. The choirs that participated were Nidarosdomens Guttekor, Sølvguttene, Bislett Guttekor, Collegium Vocale Gutter, Kristiansand Cathedral Boys' Choir, Vanse Guttekor Deo Gloria and Edvard Grieg Guttekor. The concert was supported by Bergesenstiftelsen.
