The Festival programme in
Håkonshallen
Håkonshallen is both a national cultural heritage site and a concert venue at the Bergen International Festival.
Håkonshallen was built by Håkon Håkonsson as a royal residence and banqueting hall. Håkonshallen (Håkon’s Hall) has taken its name from its first builder, King Håkon Håkonsson, and was erected between 1247 and 1261.
The Festival programme in 2025 features grand voices, Icelandic art metal, master meetings and classical musicians of international standing.
Please note that Håkonshallen is not universally accessible. Read more about Håkonshallen's accessibility.
