At Kode Bergen Art Museum’s Permanenten, changing exhibitions are displayed over three floors, featuring contemporary art and exhibitions with works from the museum’s own collection.

The building has housed the collection of arts and crafts and design, Norwegian silver, and the collection of Chinese art.

On the ground floor you’ll find the family workshop and the reception. On the top floor is a banquet hall which is used for events, in addition to a library and meeting rooms.

Permanenten was designed by architect Henry Bertram Bucher and was built in 1896.
