Open session with an opera director.

Eight singers from the Queen Sonja Singing Competition’s Opera Academy will study under British opera and theatre director Anthony Almeida as part of the Festival Academy of Bergen, in a session that is also open to the public. Step behind the scenes and gain insight into the teaching process with these talented singers.

The Opera Academy was established in 2023 and is led by internationally renowned educators. The award-winning Almeida is one of this season’s guest lecturers.
