OperaUp!

If you make your way up to Fløyen during the Bergen International Festival, you might be surprised with an opera performance on the Fløibanen funicular, or perhaps a soprano or tenor will appear in the areas around the Restaurant on the mountain top.

In OperaUp!, up and coming opera stars will pop up during the daytime throughout the festival period. The journey from Vetrlidsallmenningen to the summit of Mount Fløyen takes seven to eight minutes, and the funicular runs several times an hour.
