Festival square concert with great music from small islands.

Small Island Big Song is a music, film, and performing arts project that brings together acclaimed Indigenous artists from across the Pacific and Indian Oceans on a shared stage. The company includes artists from Madagascar, Taiwan, Rapa Nui, Mauritius, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Australia, and beyond.

In the Small Island Big Song project, they contribute their own languages, instruments and distinctive musical traditions. Through Small Island Big Song, the artists give voice to these environments – through their languages, instruments, and their embodied living heritage.

One Ocean is their latest live production, which will come to Bergen and Grieghallen in a concert version. At the Festival square they will perform selected songs from the concert – completely free of charge and open to everyone.
