Thormod Rønning Kvam is a Norwegian pianist who is passionately committed to expanding people’s knowledge of classical music and conveying the many historical moments behind the works.

To the Festival square he brings beautiful, springtime music that will appeal to all music lovers. The programme is carefully selected and includes music by, among others, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Edvard Grieg, Claude Debussy, Harald Sæverud and Geirr Tveitt, and Rønning Kvam will also talk about the music from the stage during the concert.
