Families welcome!
Unchained Melody
Mette Ingvartsen
Carte Blanche
A dance performance for all ages.
Movement and dance is a universal language reaching across age, background and experiences – and for this Saturday performance of Unchained Melody, the whole family is welcome regardless of age.
In Unchained Melody, choreographer Mette Ingvartsen uses love songs from different eras as a musical anchor for the choreography. Songs, moods and movement flow into each other like waves on the sea.
Carte Blanche is the Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance. Based in Bergen, the ensemble tours worldwide. For several years, Carte Blanche's family-friendly performances have received good feedback from all ages. Here, the young audience members can make sounds and move around if they want.
Unchained Melody will also have six evening performances and an afternoon performance during the Festival.
