Anders Sveaas'

Charitable Foundation - ASAF

ASAF - Anders Sveaas’ Charitable Foundation was established in 1990 and is a private foundation based in Oslo, Norway.

The foundation was established by the Norwegian businessman and art collector Christen Sveaas and named after his grandfather Consul Anders Sveaas, the founder of AS Kistefos Træsliberi at Jevnaker in 1889.

In 2027, the concerts The Sound of Gold are a gift from ASAF to mark the 75th jubilee of the Bergen International Festival. The star-studded ensemble of musicians perform on some of the world's most sought-after string instruments, on loan from Anders Sveaas’ Charitable Foundation.

The Festival deeply appreciates this gift.
