Fritt Ord Foundation is a non-profit private foundation whose paramount objective is to protect and promote freedom of expression and the environment for freedom of expression in Norway, particularly by encouraging lively debate and the dauntless use of the free word.

With support from Fritt Ord Foundation, Ordskifte continues — a conversation series designed to reflect and highlight important contemporary trends and issues, drawing inspiration from the Bergen International Festival’s wide-ranging programme.
