Ole Bull's second home in Valestrand is in private ownership of Ole Bull's great-great-great-grandchild.
Sometimes referred to as Norway's first international star, Ole Bornemann Bull (1810–1880) was an renowned violinist worldwide. His villa in Valestrand, Osterøy, was built in 1869, nicknamed 'Bullahuset'. It stands on the property where Ole Bull spent his summers as a child, and the designer behind the building in dragon style architecture was Ole's brother, architect Georg Andreas Bull.

Before the concerts, audience is welcome to a tour of Ole Bull’s historic summer house in Valestrand. The guided tour begins one hour before the concerts and has limited capacity. Sign up for the tour at no extra cost when you buy the concert ticket.
The tour will be given by Ole Bull’s great-great-great-grandchild, Carl-Michael Hendriksen Palmér, and will be held in Swedish.
