Grieg, Janáček, Bull, Schumann og Netzel in Bull's summer house.

The Swedish-British violinist Maya Broman Crawford-Phillips and Norwegian Sebastian Egebakken Svenøy – last seen in the Soloist Prize winner’s concert at the 2025 Bergen International Festival – will perform at both Ole Bull’s villa in Valestrand, and the King’s official residence at Gamlehaugen in 2026.

Together, they perform music by Clara Schumann, Edvard Grieg and Leoš Janáček, and in Valestrand the programme also includes Laura Netzel’s Berceuse, alongside Ole Bull’s own Polacca Guerriera.

Maya Broman Crawford-Phillips will also appear as a soloist with the Monbijou Quartet at Bullahuset in Valestrand.

In 2026, the Bergen International Festival presents two concerts in Ole Bull’s villa – Bullahuset – in Valestrand, Osterøy. Here you will meet young string players and pianists from the Festival Academy of Bergen – an annual meeting place for emerging musicians.
