Young songbirds with songs from the West.
Children’s choirs from across the city and surrounding areas take over the outdoor stage of Bergen International Festival with joy and song, presenting a series of ten-minute mini-concerts throughout the day.
This year, the choirs perform their own interpretations of the theme “Songs from the West”, inspired by the western coast of Norway, the sea, the winds and by voices and songs from the west – both near and far.
The Bergen Children’s Choir Festival consists of two parts: a choir marathon at Festival square and a closing concert in Spissen in Grieghallen later the same evening.
