Bergen Children's Choir Festival

closing concert

Throughout the day, the Children’s Choir Festival has filled Festival square with joyful singing from children’s choirs, and the day concludes with a larger closing concert in Spissen in Grieghallen.

The choirs interpret the theme “Songs from the West” in a variety of ways – inspired by the west wind, the sea, the mountains, or the sun setting in the west. The music may evoke sounds from the coast, or voices and songs arriving from the western shores, both near and far.

On stage are the Edvard Grieg Youth Choir, Edvard Grieg Boys’ Choir, Edvard Grieg Girls’ Choir, and the Øygarden cultural school choir.
