Stop by for a daytime music boost.
Students from the Grieg Academy take the stage, ensuring memorable musical experiences nearly every day at 12:00 and 15:00 during the Festival.
These short daytime concerts offer a variety of musical genres – with a focus on the classical repertoire. There will be concerts with everything from solo performances to a chamber orchestra.
The concert series are a popular Festival tradition with a more than 50 year long history, plenty of surprises, and a great atmosphere. Among previous artists in the Drop-in concert series include Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen, who will also give a concert at the 2026 Festival. Maybe it’s the next classical sensation that will appear on the Drop-in stage?

Ticket bundles in sale at the Festival ticket booth and at the concert entrance.
Same price for all concerts. Ticket sales online, or at the ticket booth at Torgallmenningen from 26 May or at the entrance before each concert.
