Pop-ups and excerpts from a walking theatre performance about Bergen’s historical figures.
Step into Bergen’s hidden histories with exclusive excerpts from the walking theatre performance Hvem er vi? (Who are we?). A selection of atmospheric scenes will be presented at the Festival square. The forgotten stories of the dead come to life, and through original sources and tales of different destinies, ranging from the moving to the spectacular, the audience will encounter Ole Bull, Fredrik Meltzer, the Jebsen family, Mons Dahl and the enigmatic Geelmuyden twins.
There will also be pop-up performances of 10–20 minutes in the Bergen city centre from Thursday 27 to Saturday 29 May.
The full performance Hvem er vi? Historier fra seks fot under (Who are we? Stories from six feet under) will be presented at Assistentkirkegården from 4 to 7 June.
