Walking theatre at the cemetery Assistentkirkegården.

Hvem er vi? Historier fra seks fot under (Who are we? Stories from six feet under) is a walking theatre performance where voices from the past are brought back to life. The scenes are based on life stories from Bergen, featuring both well-known and forgotten fates, from master mason Mons Dahl and composer and violinist Ole Bull, to the tragic destinies of cholera victims and stories from Bergen's influential families.

The cast includes children, young people, and professional artists, and is a collaboration between Vestlandske Teatersenter and K:13 Scenekunst. More than a hundred theatre school students take part in creating drama, music, movements, and storytelling from Bergen’s underground archive.

The audience moves in small groups from grave to grave, where scenes and performances tell the stories of those who rest there. The journey’s guide is master mason and founder of the cemetery Mons Dahl, played by Helge Jordal.

The full performance will be staged at Assistentkirkegården from Thursday 4 June to Sunday 7 June. In advance, there will be pop-up performances around Bergen city centre from Thursday 28 May to Saturday 30 May, as well as an excerpt from the performance at Torgallmenningen on Sunday 7 June.
