Insight into the process of one of Norway’s foremost playwrights.

Ahead of the premiere of Arne Lygre’s new play Vær meg fremmed, audiences can hear the playwright share his reflections on the play and on his own artistic practice. The conversation will be led by Nadina Bouhlou, writer and podcaster, known among other things for the podcast Dannet uten piano.

'Lygre has a singular voice, an exquisite language and a form he constantly seeks to challenge – and that makes for compelling theatre.' This is how NRK describes Arne Lygre, who grew up in Bergen and has becone one of Norway’s foremost living playwrights. Lygre’s plays are performed internationally and have been translated into more than 20 languages.
