The world’s smallest big band with a guest on saxophone.

With accordion, drums, song and tap dance – as well as pots and pans – Gabriel Fliflet and Ole Hamre have shared their music far and wide the last 35 years. They have wandered new paths, played and listened, and brought Edvard Grieg and Harald Sæverud along to Balkan dance parties.

The duo is still brimming with discoveries and a sheer joy in playing music. For this concert, they are joined by a musician with equal playfulness: the saxophonist, improvisational genius and honorary musician of Tajikistan, Rolf-Erik Nystrøm.

Together, the three musicians promise to jam harder than ever, and the gentle and poetic will take on new, beautiful colours.

Get ready for Balkan, Ivar Aasen, joyful madness and pure poetry – as well as a bit of invigorating singalong.
